His experience includes leadership of federal technology programs and advisory work on the national security dimensions of transactions. His experience encompasses both the institutions that shape demand for technology and the companies seeking to bring new capabilities to market.

His career connects public institutions and private enterprise, with experience in the policy and commercial considerations surrounding strategic technologies. As a General Partner at Colossus Capital, he brings a national security perspective to investing in the technologies that serve both.

Devin Redmond’s background spans institutional finance, venture capital, and technology businesses. Devin has held investor roles at Wells Fargo Strategic Capital and Mercury Fund, starting his career at Goldman Sachs where he focused on commercializing the firm's technology IP and alternative investments. His experience includes strategic investments, venture financings, and technology commercialization across established institutions and emerging companies.

Alongside his institutional career, Devin has held senior operating roles in venture-backed technology companies, including chief strategy and CFO/COO responsibility. He has acted as principal on transactions in private companies, investing both out of funds and off balance sheet, and advises founders on strategic investments, acquisitions, and capital formation. His experience on both sides of the table, as an investor and as a company executive, brings a complementary perspective to Colossus Capital, where he is a General Partner.
